Crib Strap Nut Cracker this model has an aluminium nut-cracker style fitting at its base, designed to fit snugly around the windpipe, and a nylon webbing strap with plenty of adjustment.
It is fastened tightly around the gullet of the horse.
The aim is to prevent the horse from being able to arch its neck and therefore be unable to inhale large volumes of air.
