Daily Electrolyte Supplement Acid Salt Mix, it is a balanced formulation of physiological electrolyte specifically designed for horses in humid conditions.
Heavy Sweat Electrolyte can be used as supportive therapy in the treatment of dehydration when given with water. It is to replace essential salts lost due to heavy sweating and aid in the treatment of alkalosis and hypochloraemia.
Recommendations / Feeding Directions
Mix 60g (2 level scoops) into horse’s feed daily.
Alternatively can be administered as a drench or can be mixed into drinking water. In the treatment of alkalosis and hypochloraemia, the dosage may be increased as directed by a veterinarian.
Ensure an adequate supply of clean drinking water is accessible.
Racing Statement:
Administration of Heavy Sweat Electrolyte at the recommended dose rate and frequency on the day of completion will not contravene drug regulations current at the time of product manufacture.
